Dr. Jansson has long experience in industry, academia and government in high technology, academic research, product development, and engineering.
He served as a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was Director of the MIT Innovation Center. He was also founder and Director of the Institute for Innovation and Design in Engineering at Texas A&M University.
He has served as an expert witness in patent and other litigation.
Role
Dr. Jansson provides assistance in patent matters involving a variety of technologies. He has served the firm for over a decade.

Dr. Jansson's many publications include a textbook: Innovative Conceptual Design, Ehud Kroll, Sridhar Condoor and David G. Jansson, Cambridge University Press, 2001. The book presents the methodological approach to invention which Dr. Jansson has developed.
