Ms. McKinley, who has been with the firm since 2004, is active in filing and prosecuting United States patent and trademark applications and representing clients in infringement litigation. Her technical background is in biology and chemistry, and her practice has included work in the mechanical arts.
Before joining the firm, she served a two-year stint as Attorney-Law Clerk for Justice Michael J. Streit of the Iowa Supreme Court. In this initial service, she gained broad legal knowledge and experience useful in her current practice.
Ms. McKinley is licensed in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa and before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
